Christmas movies are the new tradition of most American families. There are new Christmas movies released each year, some not stand the ravages of time and others. There are some that are simply delicious after 60 years, and some that go to the "forgotten" stuck after his release. Each family can make a list of his films and it would be common to each list that are common to every family.
I give you my list of favorites. Take a look and see if there is anything on this list, you've probably heard before, and give it a viewing platform. Each of these films have stood the test of time and is now so popular, if not more, than they were when they were first published.

  1. It's a Wonderful Life Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Was released in 1947 to lukewarm reception, but a constant favorite since the late 20th Century. The trip to Bedford Falls and see a man in the financial, personal and emotional crisis may help of his guardian angel what life in Bedford Falls would you like if he had never been born. The message of history is that each individual's life and affects the life that she comes into contact with, whether we admit it or not. A very touching story that will inspire you to smile and embrace hope even when life seems hopeless.
  2. White Christmas Bing Crosby, Danny Kay, Rosemary Cloony I love the pristine world 1950s.The clothes is worth watching alone. I think I love the old movies, because morale was still in style, and I miss the world. Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kay, et al ... is a fantastic entertainer, dancer and actress. Why do some people just get all the talent? The lessons we have this story in the issue of loyalty, love, honor and character to the infinite. This is such a pure film (it's not even an enemy in it) is older people back to a time when life was much easier to carry and give young people looking in nature.
  3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo. If an American has not seen this movie, they must live under a rock! Unlike It's a Wonderful Life, the movie shows the typical late 20th Century, the family in action. I give the values of the family are valued and pursued in this film, but it is in the implementation produces the contrast between the ideals of Christmas and the real truth, the.
  4. A Christmas Story who does not love Ralphy? Have you ever wished so badly that one thing for Christmas and had not received any indication that you really get? Traveling with Ralphy, he sloshes his way through the non-men and tyrants who seek his dreams for Christmas is a Red Rider BB Gun squash. This guy is self-aware one can not help but love him. His gravity is what keeps the story moving and you need to start getting your thumb Ralphy press that Red Rider BB gun, although he "shoots from the eye." I find it hard to believe that this film was released in 1983! It's one of those timeless classics, which is well worth waiting a year to observe.
  5. Christmas in Connecticut Barbara Stanwyck plays a New York writer who invents the financial magazine and writes recipes that soldiers leaving the water in the mouth, longing for a home-cooked meal. It is a comedy to keep secret that she is a woman in an apartment in New York, do not cook at all. Another beautiful film classics from 1940's Time to tickle your funny bone.
  6. The Preacher's Wife / The Bishop's Wife The Preacher's Wife sent a remake of The Bishop's Wife, and stars Denzel Washington in a role that we have not seen him sooner or later - a bumbling angel, the preacher who has lost his faith help. This film is not something that every Christmas movie list, but it remains for me, because the actor (Whitney Huston singing voice and beauty are not tired of) the eye. The story is sweet and simple, but the message of Christmas is in its full glory here. I recommend only two versions: The Bishop's Wife stars Cary Grant and Loretta Young, and published 1947th
  7. The Shop Around the Corner / You've Got Mail, this is one of the oldest film would be on the list, published 1940th Here you will find a very young Jimmy Stewart serves as an ambitious store clerk in addition to some very interesting characters. He falls in love with a woman he meets through letters. She comes to his colleagues in the workshop, which he did not care. When I learned that You've Got Mail (Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, 1998), a loose re-make this movie as I saw them and finally bought it for my library of films. It is not top of the list because I do not watch it every year, simply because I do not have time. I like older movies because I like the time they were made. They are expressions of a culture that I had a small taste of how a child can not be found in movies today.
  8. Christmas with the Kranks While critics have praised this film, it's one of my all-time favorites! Okay, I confess that I see this movie more than just at Christmas time. I'm a huge fan of Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd and John Grisham. This is just a bundle of talent and quiet that can not be put on the shelf for a whole year! Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis find themselves living in an empty nest, just after Thanksgiving, and they are hard to get into the Christmas spirit is good for at least Tim. He decides to skip Christmas and attracts Jamie Lee go on the trip. I love the presentation of peer pressure from all its neighbors, if they can decorate their house for holidays and tend to lock themselves out of vacation at all - only with difficulty. It is filled with good, clean, family movie for the whole family with laughter. I laugh more than once a year to get this.
  9. The Santa Clause Tim Allen does not play the new Santa Claus ready when the real Santa falls from his roof. When he moved to the red Santa coat, he and his son, of reindeer to the North Pole. He has, over the next few years will grow more and more thick and long white hair and white beard, when he worked as a toy company exec. It is funny and adorable. My kids turned me on to say, a 2002 and I must say I really enjoy it.
  10. While You Were Sleeping Sandra Bullock, 1995. This film does not appear on many Christmas lists, Film, but it is on my list, because it takes place at Christmas. Sandra Bullock plays Lucy, an orphaned young woman to share it with someone else on holiday. It reminds me of the strange family, I am also blessed that no matter how strange, they can fill my life with love, laughter and gratitude. It is a bit like a chicken strip, but a great little story anyway. Great cast, great story.
This is just the first ten films that I see every year in December. I hope you find something that you had forgotten or that you have never seen. I wish you a merry Christmas, surrounding you with love of family and friends as these films.
